Things to do when visiting New Richmond, WI
There's so much to do at Two Bees & A Bud Flower Farm, like picking flowers, kayaking, walking the woods, visiting the sheep and chickens, or enjoying a picnic by the water.
But if you're driving a distance to get here, it's nice to know what else there is to do in the area.
I've put together a list of my favorite things to do in and around New Richmond, WI. This is not an exhaustive list, just enough to get you started. I'm sure you'll find lots to enjoy!

Restaurants & Coffee Shops
Bizzy Bean Coffee is a drive-thru within minutes from our farm and boasts a big custom menu of hot and iced drinks.
Table 65 has farm to table cuisine and a big menu with lots of vegetarian and vegan options.
Not Justa Café has quick service, lots of seating and has a hometown diner feel.
Dragos Deli is the place to call to order fresh sandwiches for a picnic lunch on the farm. They have a large lunch menu and a special each day. Call ahead to place your order for quick pick-up on your way here. 715-255-4554.
Champs Bar has the best view of the city from their rooftop tables and yummy bar food.
Mallards has a more elevated menu with delicious surf and turf options.
45th Parallel is a craft distillery with custom drinks, food and outdoor seating.
Simply Bowls offers icy cold organic, dairy free, vegan and gluten free açai bowls.
Jewelltown Roastery coffee shop is in Star Prairie, just a few minutes drive to the north and is within walking distance to the paved Apple River path and the Star Prairie Trout Farm (see below).
When you want more nature:
Saratoga Springs Park is just north of us. It is a delightful, wooded path that is fairly short, taking you through the woods and over a creek with lots of fun beaver activity to spy. Here's a link to the park history.
Star Prairie Trout Farm is a short drive north and has always been a favorite place to visit with our kids. You can feed the fish or rent a pole to fish and take it home for dinner.
Sather Nature Center is a wooded path that runs along the Willow River. It's perfect for little walk with some pretty scenery. Co Rd A, New Richmond, WI 54017.
Threshing Table Farm is a CSA Vegetable Farm just a few miles away. Open Saturday mornings July-September, 8am-1pm with produce and farm animals to visit.
When you want more recreation:
Mary Park has a nice paved walking path along the Willow River, a fishing dock and boat launch (great kayaking), pickleball courts and wonderful accessible kids playground.
Hatfield Park is close by and has a fishing dock, small playground, a bike path with a tunnel (check out the mural painted by Christine's previous non-profit Messes & Masterpieces), and a skate park.
If you're into disc golf, right next to Hatfield is Whispering Hills Disc Golf Course.
Gibby's Lanes bowling alley is across from Hatfield Park and also has a sports bar and restaurant with an outdoor patio.
When your in the mood to shop:
Garden Expressions is a lovely garden center just down the road with a new water feature and nice gift store.
Covet is on main street (251 S. Knowles Ave) and has an eclectic array of gifts and beautiful handcrafted jewelry by the owner.
Loganberry is a home goods boutique with something for everyone.
