I’ve always believed in the power of connection—it’s the heart of this flower farm.

In fact, Two Bees & A Bud is rooted from a time of disconnect.

At the start of the pandemic, our world, and my world unraveled. My organic tea business was forced to close, leaving behind a pile of sadness and uncertainty. We had just moved to the country, a fresh start that suddenly felt very isolating. To make matters worse, my mom—who was in a nearby care facility—was placed on lockdown.

I found myself craving connection and purpose.

One day, in the depths of that despair, I signed up for an online yoga class. The instructor began with a quote:

"What is not worth sharing, is not worth bothering about."

Something in those words shifted me. A pivot moment. I realized I needed to create something worth sharing, something that could bring light into the darkness.

That's when I started learning about flower farming and found myself sowing the seeds that became something way bigger - I began growing community

As all good things come to life, Two Bees & A Bud has blossomed into a beautiful space of celebration and delight - one that nurtures common connections through the flowers.

Since 2020, there has been an abundance of connections here ~ engagements, weddings, celebrations of life, surprise parties, bridal and baby showers and groups of all kinds.

And we've celebrated community through our You-Pick Events, Food, Music and Flowers Events, Hot Air Balloon Events and many, many classes and workshops.

        And here's the amazing thing...
I find the most meaningful moments are those where people step into the present. When the noise and distractions of the world are left behind, and they enter this magical place and = JUST BE.
That's the sweet spot where they feel their true place and deepest connection - amongst the flowers.

I'd love for you to find your place of belonging and connection here, too.

Here are a few ways you can do that ~
        • Attend or help at a To-Gather Meal where you'll meet new people and make new friends.

        • Be a Volunteer. Be a garden helper, You-Pick host, or event worker. You decide what works best for your skills, time, and abilities. (Contact Christine for more information.)

        • Join our Marigold Club that meets once a month for fun and friendship. (Contact Christine for more information.)

        • Let Two Bees be your 3rd space. For $5 you can enjoy our  You-Pick Experience (flowers not included). Come alone or with a friend or two. Listen to music (Friday nights), have a picnic, play a game, relax by the water, read a book in a hammock, rent a kayak, or explore the property.
        • Take one of our many seasonal class and meet like-minded people.

        • Attend one of our Events to really experience small town community.

        • Plan a Sip & Snip party with a few friends or co-workers - great for teambuilding.

It is my hope to make you feel welcome.
