What is a Bucket of Blooms?
- Bucket of Blooms is a pre-picked bucket of flowers that are trimmed and ready for you to use in your arrangements.
- Buckets include a combination of filler flowers (the smaller ones), greenery, and focal flowers. They do not include: Specialty Tulips, Dahlias, and Peonies; which are priced per stem.
- Buckets can be all one color flower (just pinks), a mix of specific colored flowers (pinks and whites), or specific flower varieties (just Zinnias). There is a small upcharge for requiring specific flowers.
- Each Bucket of Blooms provides enough flowers to create 5-6 quart jar arrangements.
How do I know how many buckets to get?
- Buckets contain approximately 50-60 stems. Order however many you need depending on how big your vases are and how many flowers you want in your final arrangements. A nice arrangement contains odd number of flowers (3, 5, 7, etc) and a mix of focal flowers, filler flowers and foliage.
What's the advantage of Bucket of Blooms versus buying in a grocery store?
- Supporting a local farm (and we appreciate it very much). 89% of store flowers are shipped in from other countries - increasing the carbon footprint and reducing the quality and vase life of the flowers.
- Stems are counted out for you so you know what your final bouquets will look like - no guessing and counting stems in the store.
- Fillers, focal flowers and foliage are separated into bundles which makes preparations easy for you.
- Build-A-Bouquet party presentation ideas provided upon request.
- Bucket of Blooms also includes tips on arranging and instructions for each guest on how to care for the bouquet once they take them home.
