Two Bees & A Bud Flower Barn
Tubers will be sold after class.
Up until five years ago, I had never heard of a Dahlia. When I started taking floriculture classes and following other flower farmers on social media, I realized I was missing out on something pretty amazing!
Once I grew my own, I understood the affection and addiction other flower farmers talk about!
Dahlias are sturdy, uniform, produce many flowers per plant, produce tubers that multiply over one season to increase your stock for next year, and come in an array of colors, textures and sizes - they are stunning!
Now in my 5th year of growing Dahlias, I'd love to share my successes, failures, and tips to growing these special flowers with you.
In this class, you'll learn what to look for in a tuber, how to increase your stock with propagation, how to plant, water and maintain, how to deal with bugs, harvesting, and what to do at the end of the season.
I'll have handouts for you to take home for reference, and you'll be able to contact me any time throughout the season to ask questions. I want you to enjoy them, too!
Class will be held in our Flower Barn, dress warm - it is not insulated.
